Quarterly Astro Photo Winner

4th August 2016 by Andy Milner

This last quarters Astro Photo Winner is Frank Dutton with a nice view of the Milky Way from Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa during a trip he made recently.

Frank took this image with a Panasonic Lumix GF5 Camera at 28mm on a 15 se second exposure using ISO set to 1600.

What is amazing too is that Frank took this under some fear of the local wild life, as he was warned there maybe Baboons in the vicinty so he didnt’t want to hang around outside too long! Also where he stayed there was some light pollution from the local camp.

Well done Frank!
