After an introduction to the skills and software you will have a chance to practice your skills on your own images so please bring your laptop with a Jupiter AVI file that they have taken with either SharpCap 2.9 or Firecapture and software such as PIPP, AstroStakkert 2, Registax6 and whatever graphic enhancement program you have.

SharpCap 2.9 from http://www.sharpcap.co.uk/ look down the left hand panel and click SharpCap 2.9 Available
FireCapture 2.5 from http://www.firecapture.de/ click on Download on the top menu bar and then select either the 32bit of 64bit download depending on your operating system
The free Processing software:-
PIPP (Planetary Imaging PreProcessing) from https://sites.google.com/site/astropipp/downloads and again select either the 32bit or 64bit version to download.
Registax 6 from http://www.astronomie.be/registax/download.html and click on the initial release version 6:-
Initial V6.1 Release (2 april 2011)
Release 126.96.36.199 (3 Mb)
Then click on the Release 188.8.131.52 to install the product. Then return to the web site http://www.astronomie.be/registax/download.html and click on the update version 6.1.08:-
Update V6.1.08 – requires V6.1 (6 may 2011)
You need to have RegiStax 6 installed before installing this update
Release 184.108.40.206 (1.6 Mb)
This will update the program to the latest version.
